[1/25/12]加州教育排名全美第30名

根據美國立法交流會議 (American Legislative Exchange Council，ALEC)新出的報告，加州教育系統位列全國第30名。該報告是綜合每個州K - 12表現、進步程度和改革所做出的全面報告。
加州名次與2010年「全國教育進展評估」（National Assessment of Education Progress，簡稱NAEP）中所獲的排名相同。

ALEC同樣根據每個州教育改革政策進行打分，包括學術水平、學校選擇方案、特殊學校、線上學習和師資。加州在該項目上由2010年的C上升到B。

ALEC報告通常會使家長在對子女選擇學校方面產生較大影響。此外，該報告還討論教育資源浪費，及行政人員、家長和教師如何對教育進行改革。

2011年麻薩諸塞州和密蘇里州分別在學生表現和教育改革方面排名第一。西維吉尼亞州在這兩項評比中都名列最末。
